NOT REALLY ART

Ten working surfaces from an art school.
Each one — a carrier of history.
Together — a collection.

NOT REALLY ART

2023–2025
01

Ten unique objects that emerged during the artistic process.

02

Initially, these surfaces were not intended to be artworks. They were used as working surfaces in the educational process of an art school.

03

Traces of work gradually accumulated on them: paint, graphite, lines, drawings, corrections, and random marks. A new layer would cover the previous one, but not always erase it completely.

04

Over time, the working surface itself became a carrier of the history of what happened on it. These objects are not paintings in the traditional sense. They are traces of the art-making process.

Not really art.
Or, perhaps, art after all.
